Purchased from the Daughter of the original owner and delivered first in New York City, this 1947 Gar Wood Utlity is one of only 5 known to be built and the ONLY one known to still exist. It is offered with the original numbers matching Chrysler Royal and it has all of the hardware rechromed and replated. The hull is all new and the boat needs thing as it was completely restored for the Gar Wood Concours in Clayton where it won the Best Post War Gar Wood Utility. This is a 90+ point boat at any Boat Show and is a cool design as Gar Wood incroporated a barrel stern inconic shape to htis very broad beamy Utility. This boat will show well and handle well in any type of water.
