Feet 1939 Scripps Engine Only
It is mounted on a custom test stand with a closed cooling system. The engine is a 1939 configuration. As part of the rebuild the crank case was replaced with a later casting. Work done on the engine: Crankshaft ground and polished Crankcase replaced New pistons (NOS) New piston rings Cylinders bored,sleeved and honed, as necessary Cylinder blocks cooling jackets cleaned and flushed Cylinder blocks milled and flattened New valve seats and guides Valves ground and replaced as necessary Cylinder heads cleaned and flushed and tested for leaks (spare head included) Cylinder heads milled and flattened Cylinder studs tested and replaced as necessary (Scripps NOS) Oil pump rebuilt Distributor rebuilt Raw water pump rebuilt Carburetors (correct model) rebuilt and fitted Oil cooler replaced and tested Electrical system converted to 12V, Alternator fitted Transmission cleaned, inspected and adjusted Engine was "run in" for piston ring seating, tuning and testing. Oil drained and refilled.

14 Feet 1956 Larson Falls Flyer Outboard
Another early fiberglass model of the stylish Larson Falls Flyer. Built in Little Falls, MN - the "Falls Flyer" name paid tribute to Little Falls native, and aviation hero, Charles Lindberg. Larson built the wooden Falls Flyer for a number of years leading up to WWII, and began to produce fiberglass models around 1954. This example has been nicely restored and features a 40hp 4-stroke Mercury with electronic fuel injection.

15 Feet 2004 Reproduction of a Peterborough Nomad
This boat is a 2004 reproduction of a 1957/58 Peterborough Nomad. This beautifully built boat is constructed from select red cedar strips over steamed oak ribs fastened by copper clench nails. It has been finished inside and out with 7 coats of varnish for maximum durability. Included is a beautifully restored 1958 35hp Maroon and White Johnson outboard.

16 Feet 1946 Century Utility
1946 marked the beginning of Century's "Victory Fleet". When production started back up after WWII, the 1946 models were limited to materials that were available at the time. The company focused on smaller models, ranging from the 15 foot Sea Maid to the 17 foot Standard Utility. This 16 foot utility is a great example of Century's early post-war production. She was comprehensively restored in 1998 and has been very well maintained since. Powered by its original Gray Marine 4-75 engine, she moves along well and is a great little package! Under single ownership since 1987.

One of the most FUN Century Resorter models to drive; the 16 footer is fast, nimble, and responsive! Starting in 1957, the 16 foot Resorter was widened and featured V8 power. It continued as the "official" towboat for sanctioned water skiing competition event. The model sold in record numbers - 1,180 sales in only 3 years! This example is only a 2-owner boat since new. Originally owned and enjoyed by the Commodore of the Sacramento, California Yacht Club. Powered by a 289cid Y-block Ford Interceptor with dual carbs. Beautiful blond and red mahogany 2-tone decks. 16 Feet 1947 Century Deluxe Utility
Wooden inboard powered 16' open twin cockpit runabout. The 4-year restoration of this vessel has been thorough, keeping original hardware, bringing every piece of the boat up to "as new" condition. The SAMS surveyor reported, "actually better than original condition." Alaskan cedar plank-over-batten on sawn white oak frames. Decking and transom are varnished mahogany. Features a foredeck with aluminum-framed glass windshield at forward cockpit seat where the helm is located to the starboard side. Engine is beneath a cover in forward in the forward portion of the aft cockpit with excellent access. Across the rear of the aft cockpit lies an upholstered transom seat, just forward of the short aft deck.

17 Feet 1949 Higgins Speedster
This is an excellent water ski boat that is in mint condition. Very clean boat needs a little work on the deck and splash rails. Present owner has had this boat for three years and waters skis on it regularly. Bottom was repainted last year and the interior was replaced 3 years ago. The Higgins story is well documented and Higgins were very involved in the war effort during the 2nd World War when they made beach landing craft similar to the ones we all have seen in documentaries surrounding the D-Day anniversary.
