One of the most FUN Century Resorter models to drive; the 16 footer is fast, nimble, and responsive! Starting in 1957, the 16 foot Resorter was widened and featured V8 power. It continued as the "official" towboat for sanctioned water skiing competition event. The model sold in record numbers - 1,180 sales in only 3 years! This example is only a 2-owner boat since new. Originally owned and enjoyed by the Commodore of the Sacramento, California Yacht Club. Powered by a 289cid Y-block Ford Interceptor with dual carbs. Beautiful blond and red mahogany 2-tone decks. A very original boat with a great history!
