1900s 14’ 1/8”cedar strip sailing canoe Owned by M.M. Boyd and family in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Owners of a large Forrest Company throughout Ontario and Quebec and builder of the Trent Canal. The Canoe ended up at Lake Cowichan in early 1920s 30s as Forrestry exploits moved west with my grandfather Cuss Boyd. My mother was Patricia Boyd, I’m Derek Arnoldi. The boat seems sound and no dry rot. I paddling it as a 8-10 year old.

Summer is here and it is time to put away the snowmobile and think about getting wet in a true antique 15 foot run-about. This is a head-turner and a throwback to what sunny Sunday afternoon boating was all about. 1965 15 foot Marlin "Sun-Day" - perhaps the last one around. 6 were manufactured in Florida and the factory burned. Original baby-blue with original colour matched Gale 35 HP electric start out board engine. Engine starts and runs well. Parts are the same as a 1965 Johnson 35 hp motor. Steering cables and electric harness have been replaced but everything else is original. This smart little boat looks like the 60's with tail fins and will make a statement on the water. This 1966 19’6” Century Wooden Boat is powered by a 290 cu. in. 285hp Ford Interceptor V-8 engine. The boat which has 500 original hours in the water (all by the original owner in Wisconsin) has been in dry storage since a Concours ready total restoration was completed in 2004. Lots of extras. TOODLE’OO is a beautiful representation of an era where Old World Craftsmenship and quality of materials were a perquisite of any custom built boat. She was designed by the legendary Bill Tritt as a long keel displacement hull providing stability and sea kindliness. She was designed both as a classic Surrey top launch and as a Gaff rigged sloop. TOODLE’OO was built in 1964 by Pearson Yachts in Bristol, Rhode Island. Both of these boats incorporate the B&W 30HP Lathrop inboard gasoline engine. This engine was selected for its reliability and ease of maintenance. Replacement parts are readily available on-line. The hull and deck are of a solid fiberglass layup, no core material that can wick water and rot. The forward and stern decks are solid 7/16” teak screwed down and bedded in expandable caulk. The hulls classic tumble home and transom design are only found in vintage boats of this era…absolutely beautiful and a statement on their own. All wood surfaces, except for the teak decks, have been stripped and twelve coats of varnish applied. The teak decks have been sanded and a honey-tone sealer applied for a superior weather resistant finish. The hardware onboard is either cast bronze or brass, accenting the teak and oak trim detail of the boat. New custom quick release hardware secures the surrey tops eight supporting poles making it easy to remove when transporting or for storage. (The diagonal straps shown in the pictures are eliminated with this upgrade). All wiring in the engine compartment and helm is new along with a battery, battery disconnect switch, alternator, bilge pump, fuel tank sender and a completely new instrument panel. A large polished bronze wheel with teak handles trims out the helm and gives the skipper a good feel of being in command of the vessel. There is a custom built single axle trailer with removable tongue for storage in excellent condition. This beautiful Bertram has been in our family! My uncle was the Bertram distributer and my father bought from him, it was then passed down to me (daughter and son-in-law) in the 90's. Technically one owner. This boat has motored in many Colorado Lakes, Lake Powell, and also the Gulf of Mexico. Bertram only made smaller boats for a short time. Based on my research they made 20 footers from 10 years and only made a total of 1300. Been has been used for fishing, pulling water skiers, and tubes. It has provided many years of pleasure and fun. FOR SALE – 1965 Century Coronado W/Chrysler Marine 440 This is a beautiful example of this classic in excellent, show winning, ready to use condition. In 2011 a Jeff Funk/Antique Boat Shop 5200 “No Soak” bottom including new planks, frames and keel was completed. Interior vinyl is in excellent original condition and the sliding hard top was restored including a new headliner, side and front windows and paint. Deck vinyl was replaced in 2011. Chrysler Marine 440 runs strong and has been fitted with a heat exchanger closed cooling system, electronic ignition, twin battery system and bilge blower. All gauges function and the fuel tank was replaced in 2000. Custom aluminum trailer was purchased in 2017 and has less than 1000 miles on it. I have owned this boat since 2000 and am selling because I don’t use it enough. This boat is ready for the summer! She won her class at Keels and Wheels in 2025. Located in Houston, Texas

Starting with a boat in great condition and purchased new in Cincinnati in 1959, it had just over 200 hours when I began the build. I completely stripped this 18' inboard ski boat down inside and out and performed a very high quality restoration with many upgrades over stock. I used all the same paint, sealers, caulk, and varnish products used by Chris Craft when the boat was built. I have all the original paperwork from when the boat was purchased new. I also have all the restoration receipts. I installed all new marine grade wiring and professionally built and upgraded the small block Chevy engine (283). It now has a roller cam, electronic ignition, alternator, new and better Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and base plate, and many other upgrades to make the engine perform better with greater reliability over stock. All new interior by the Upholstry Shop in Jamestown, NY. Trailer was stripped, upgraded, and painted with Raptor Guard truck bed liner, and I added custom tires and wheels. I have all material receipts exceeding the asking price, and this does not include my 12 months of labor to perform this build. The restoration on the gauges alone was $2,000. I also built the dash from mahogany and installed a high end stereo system. This is a serious boat for serious inquiries only. I also have pictures from when I purchased the boat and all the progress photos throughout the entire build. I have approximately $35,000 invested with the purchase of the boat, restoration, and trailer upgrade. This does not include any of my labor or paid labor I used during the restoration. A beautiful 12' boat that has been babied for over sixty years and ALWAYS garaged - so it has its ORIGINAL finish! This has to be the finest Old Town Sportboat in existence. It is O. T.'s "Grade AA," with beautiful mahogany and cedar woods. I doubt you could find today as high a quality mahogany as this stern's plank. The boat features wood/canvas construction, as Old Town used on its famous canoes. It would be PERFECT for towing behind your Chevy Nomad to your next car cruise. A true 1950's flashback! The canvas was worn but has now been replaced with state-of-the-art Stewart Systems' heavy Superflight Dacron fabric, the same material and paint system certified for use on aerobatic biplanes. Being an almost-flat bottom, the boat is nice and stable, and it is rated for a 10hp motor but I always used it for rowing. And it rows great! A previous owner did use it with a motor. The original Holsclaw trailer (now fully restored) is included and the whole package (trailer and boat) only weighs in at about 400 lbs, so it can be towed with almost any car and is simple to roll about in storage. Boat and trailer are both PA titled and registered.

This 28 ft. MorinCraft was built in 1923 on Greenwood Lake, NJ by the Morin Brothers. They were also dealers for HackerCraft boats. They built their boats similar to or exactly like the HackerCraft designs. Babe Ruth purchased 2 of these MorinCrafts in the late 1920's. This boat has been completely refurbished, to include a West System bottom, new oak keelson and sister ribs, CG approved aluminum fuel tank, rebuilt Stewart-Warner (digital) guages, paired up with the new Mercrusier Mag 350, with 1:2 gear reduction. This is a go-boat and a show-boat.

My dad absolutely loved wood boats and purchased these 9 foot hydroplane boats some time ago. The Red finish one is named “So Slo” and the wood finish one is named “DynOmitte”. These boats were both once registered with the American powerboat association and their race numbers are 17 F and 18 F. “K The name of the boat is Dynomite and its race numbers are 18 F. We’d love these boats to find a new owner who loves wood boats.

Not sure why I bought it. I just liked it I guess. I was told it was a 1960. Fathers and son project. Complete with original brass Orr locks and ours. I’ve not started ant restoration as to preserve the original integrity. It is just way cool. Could be a wall hanger or a Sunday puttzer.

Absolutely beautiful boat - would not believe this is a 1975 classic, except that it still has ALL the charm! AMAZING OPPORTUNITY to resell for a big profit or enjoy this boat for cheap if someone is engine savvy! We bought it 3 years ago and did the following: New Bimini top, new carpet, new fusion sound system, new gauges, 2 new alternators, new pro side transmission, new cover, new batteries and battery switches! Previous owner redid all stringers and rebuilt the engines. The issue is we are not mechanically savvy and are told there is now an issue with the port engine. We are buying a speed boat now that our kids are into water sports and need to sell this boat! As you can see it is beautiful and has been carefully cared for - we have invested more than double this price into it!

Fresh water only. Magnum Marine in Miami, Florida, was founded in 1966, when Donald Aronow built two hulls specifically for the offshore powerboat racing circuit. These two designs, with which he launched Magnum Marine, were the Magnum 27’ and the Magnum 35’; both went on to become World Offshore Champions in Open Class racing. To these two models, he added a 16’ ski boat, the Marauder and a 16’ Catamaran, the Missile. Aronow sold Magnum Marine to Apeco in 1968. Apeco soon dropped the Missile and Marauder boats and launched the Magnum 25’, 28’ and 38’, which are now called the Magnum Classics.

This boat has no modifications done to it other than adding all new French white upholstery with gold trim. It has a clean title and registration as well as tags. The varnish is all new and the boat has been kept winterized behind closed doors waiting to be ridden once again. It includes a custom trailer as well. There has only been one other owner and that was a master Ford mechanic who babied and fully rebuilt the motor back to factory specs. There are no boating hours on this motor. The motor has 283 cubic inch displacement and produces 185 horsepower. A simple and reliable design that some would say is very easy to maintain and work on. This classic ski boat comes with a rope tow post in the center of the boat for 180 degree action for the sportsman. I've owned this boat for the last 5 years, and unfortunately do not have the time to pursue the restoration project. Hull in need of restoration, some plank replacement needed. Electrical system was reworked 15+ years ago, and the engine was swapped for a Chrysler Marine 8 cyl some time ago. All accessories included (original burgee, ladder, oar, flagpole, etc.) This will make a beautiful restoration project, I just don't have the time.

This nice example of the iconic Chris Craft Sea Skiff is in very good condition. The engine was replaced three years ago with a crate long block and a new upgraded distributor. The boat runs great! Very Rare 1946 Dual Cockpit Century Sea Maid 15.5’. One of approximately 80 made right after WWII. Boat number 35. Came from a boat builder in Foxboro, MA. All wood is new except for the keel, floors, stem and hatch covers as they have the boat number stamp. Has all the correct 1 year only grooved chrome which had been replated. Restored IVA light, glass beehive aft light and other rare parts 95% complete. It is probably 100% but I want to be cautous. Has over $1000 in ½” 16’ mahogany in widths between 6.5 and 14.5”, more that enough to finish. Most if not all of the original cabinetry. Engine has new bearings, modern ring package, gaskets, new oil pump, fuel pump. Gas tank cleaned, rudder and trans control rods, Outer cover board are cut to contour but need to be trimmed to fit and installed as they are 8/4 now. Instrument panel and gauges have been restored

Up for sale is a 1961 Elgin 15 foot utility fiberglass boat with a 1961 75hp Elgin motor . This boat was purchased brand new in 1961 and the former owner passed away before he could use it. It has been sitting in a garage in upstate New Hampshire in storage never used. I bought it off of a collector who picked it up from the original owner’s daughter. They never used the boat. It was played in by the children when they were younger, but it never saw the water there is still plastic on the seats. The windshield is 99.99% flawless the white part of the boat is in very good shape. The red has spider cracks on the gel coat in the back by the outboard motor and in front of the windshield, but It is strictly cosmetic. The motor has not even been started by the original owner. It did get started at the factory before being shipped. The flywheel still has paint all on the teeth. Just letting you see that it’s never been used. The gas tank is spotless on the inside, but it has a Whiff of old gas. Maybe when the boat was purchased they rented at the marina or where he bought it from and they never used it since the trailer is the original Tee nee tilt trailer. It does have magnetic mounted trailer lights now the original ones have since been old and decrepit falling off. It has brand new tires and rims on it. I have the original tires and rims for it. They are perfect with the exception of the dry rotting on the side wall. I trail this boat back from Massachusetts and it trailed beautifully. This boat is too nice for me to have. I prefer aluminum. It either belongs in a museum or it needs to be used. Again, I have never fired up this motor. I have never tried to fire it up. It is not seized. It has unbelievable compression and as you can see in the pics, it was never run by the original owner.

This is a 20' 1953 Inboard Chris Craft Sportsman and is being offered as a package deal which includes this meticulously maintained vessel, a Cris Craft folding neck single axle trailer along with an in slip boat lift. During the winter months it is stored in a boat barn and during the summer months it is in a covered slip located at Holiday Point Marina in Franklin Furnace Ohio.

My grandfather purchased this boat to take his young family down the Mississippi, which he did in 1959. Then it lived in garages until I inherited it from my mother. Concerned that it wouldn't float, i took it to Silverwood, changed the sparkplugs and got it checked out. No wood rot, water tight, engine runs great when you get the fuel mixture correct. Everything is original including the bimini! (with the exception of the locks on the cabinets and the spark plugs on the engine. Comes with original water skis, fuel tanks, and original sales pamphlets. This boat is in excellent condition, never been sanded. It’s ready for many more adventures.

This boat runs and is operable. A new 5200 bottom was installed in 2003. It has been garage kept for 25 years. It has a few issues. The gas vapor locks after it heats up, once it cools down it will run. There is water mixing with the oil which is making it milky, but it has not been run minimally since the problem was discovered. The transmission has been replaced, and the old one will be included with the boat. The paint and varnish are in decent shape, but could be touched up in a couple places. The wood is solid, except for one small area on the haul near the gunwale.

This is a very cool Coronado Cardel with a hard to find sliding top. The boat is very comfy at 21 feet, has an electric fridge and sink with some counter space for a great picnic trip. The last owner replaced all of the wood stringers and floor, retaining the original interior. Good stereo system, depth finder, excellent snap on travel cover and a very capable, matching Trail Rite 4800 pound, tandem bunk trailer. I'm selling this for a friends estate, I will answer every question I can but may not have an answer for some. I cannot find an hour meter but I believe they would be average for an almost 40 year old boat. It has original 454 w/ new TBI and original Mercruiser outdrive, not a true in/out, looks like a V drive with out the V, engine transmission straight to the change of direction drive/ lower unit. I don't know a lot about Centurys or in/outs, I'm a direct drive guy. I have ridden in the boat several times over the years, it is a fun, comfortable boat, especially with the sliding top for some shade in the back. IT WAS PURCHASED BY THE CURRENT OWNER IN 2001 FROM ITS PRIOR OWNER, THE FATHER OF THE OWNER OF THE ADIRONDACK SPORT CENTER IN HAWKINSVILLE, NEW YORK, STILL A FAMILY RUN BUSINESS. 1956 MERCURY SABRE 16. ft. MAHOGANY RUNABOUT, with in-line 6 Gray Marine original motor.  Upholstery: vinyl, white with red piping. I believe the motor is roughly 100 HP.    Original wood trailer, needs new windshield, carburetor re-build, new battery, re-wire. Have complete new gasket set. I would consider this boat as more a ‘needs work’ rather than a ‘project boat’.  The structure and hull are sound, interior re-painted, and do not believe the engine to have any issues.  This mahogany runabout is a vintage classic: 1956 Mercury Sabre, 16 ft. Wooden Power Boat. Best as I know, it is complete with original trim, gauges, forward/reverse lever, etc. I purchased the boat with my neighbor, and intentions of us polishing it up ourselves.  Reminded me of the wood Chris Craft lake boats I grew up with. It was in running order when we purchased.  But with both of our busy professional lives, time has not been on our side. We did perform some work on the boat, but have never put it in the water.  We crafted a new stainless exhaust manifold, painted the interior hull, replaced all the visible screws with stainless, installed a new stiffening plate behind where the propellor shaft exits. Carburetors need to be cleaned/rebuilt.  The vinyl-upholstered seats and motor cover are in good shape.  It has been tarped since we purchased in 2009.   The exterior mahogany would look terrific if it were refinished.  The interior is in quite good shape.  We were planning to rewire, since the previous owner had installed all the same-color wiring.  The windshield is an acrylic replacement that is damaged and needs to be replaced.  Original wood trailer and Mercury hubcaps.  Have rebuild kits for the dual carburetors.  Wish we had found to time to work on it…Fixed up, this boat will be a beauty!    The boat is located in Costa Mesa, Southern California.

Found in upstate New York in the fall of 2011. I intended to restore and put it in the water during my years in the Navy stationed in Hawaii - but never materialized. I eventually had it partially restored to the state you see in the photos in 2016 by Wilco Marine in Newburyport, Massachusetts. He rebuilt the transom, sanded old coatings off, repaired weak spots, applied new gel coat (original color), and added new "Winner" vinyl logos where the original model had them. In 2021 I made a new front bench seat as seen in the photos out of padauk wood, an African hardwood that holds up very well in water (like teak). The boat has no trailer, but has a shipping cradle as seen in the photos. All the pieces and parts to continue the restoration are there - steering wheel, Johnson shifter, steering linkage pulleys and cables, and the entire rat's nest of electrical cabling (you probably don't want to reuse it, but it's included as an aid to reconstructing it). The wiring diagram is even intact! Will include supports for the sunbrella cover (supports seen in the photos - blue; cover not pictured - red), which is also included. The original (to my knowledge) gas can is included; does not leak when I last had gasoline in it. The engine that was installed was a 35hp Johnson Sea Horse, in the "art deco" style. Shiny deep red and cream colored, I suspect you'd want a full overhaul and rebuild. I have never put this in the water in my years of owning it. I started the engine once in 2011 but it's been sitting ever since.

We are the 3rd owner. It’s Always been in Oregon. there is some naval history with it with the Navy license number on it during the war and it was on the Columbia river we have pictures of that and it’s just been well maintained in Oregon
