22 Feet 1947 Hacker Triple Cockpit Runabout
This boat has been completely restored with a 3M 5200 bottom. 90% of hardware and all instrumentation is original. The engine was rebuilt at the same time and has less than 50 hours of operation. This model was only made for two years and there are probably not more than 4 or 5 still in existence. This boat is in the water and in use this summer in the Clayton area of the Thousand Islands. It needs only some cosmetic work to put it in show condition. All offers will be considered.

22 Feet 1994 Custom Hacker Gentleman's Racer
This boat was custom built by an Industrial Designer to a John Hacker design. She is a classic design bulit with modern methods. Framed with epoxy encapsulated white oak. Mahogany over double planked mahogany plywood sheathed in 10 oz. fiberglass set in West System epoxy. Decks are ½ inch solid mahogany over plywood. Stainless steel fastened, she is dressed out with custom cast, chromed bronze hardware and stainless steel. Italian leather seating, finished in dark blue hull and bright decks and interior. Powered by a balanced, twin carb 318 Chrysler MC V-8 producing 260 hp. With only 50 hours running time, this is virtually a new boat. This boat was designed for the builders personal use and has won several Classic Boat Show awards.

Built 1932 by Sinclair and Son, Chesapeake Shipbuilding Co, Oxford, MD using white oak substructure provided by Brooks Boat Co.,John Hacker-designed. Bottom and topsides in 5/8" Norway white cedar using copper rivets. Decked in 1/2" Phil. Most hardware is original and replated. Blue leather upholstery, linoleum flooring, new wiring, shaft, prop, rudder. Original building contracts, Brooks literature, Dept. of Commerce Registration. Correct MD title. 25 Feet 1914 Hacker Design Race Boat
Naomi is a 1915 Hacker/Shoemaker gentleman's racer. Reported to be a John Hacker design and built by her original owner, Mr. Shoemaker, at Essex Shipyard on Lake Champlain, Naomi was used for racing, pleasure and smuggling from 1915 through World War II. There are records of her racing at Burlington, VT in 1916. The hull design foreshadows the famous John Hacker Miss APBA design of 1922. Naomi retains her original 1914 Van Blerck T-Head, 575 c.i. racing engine delivering 1400 RPM driving her at 32 MPH. Her original hardware and Hyde 18 X 28 propeller are still with the boat. Naomi has not been run since World War II and is in need of a total restoration. This is a rare opportunity to own a significant, early gentleman's racer with a known history.

This beautiful gold cup replica was built by Hacker in 1989 and received little to no use until recently. Originally powered with a big block 502, she was found to be too much for the original owner and the boat spent nearly all of its time docked. The current owner purchased the boat a few years ago, replaced the rudder, reframed the bottom, and installed a different engine. The boat now runs like a champ and is great in rough water with its shingled bottom! The varnish has some patina and has the look of an original Gold Cup Racer.. More photos coming!

John Hacker's 26' "Miss APBA" design is a proven hull that performs well, handles rough water with ease, and also cruises along comfortably. 26 Feet 1936 Hacker Commuter
Construction of this Commuter began in 1936. She was completed and remained unused until June of 2010! It was built from a set of Hacker lines. The builder of the boat was a Detroit based inventor. The 140hp Chrysler engine has never been fired and the twin fuel tanks never held gas. The boat sat on a sturdy, supportive cradle until very recently. It had no rot, no notable damage, and had spent nearly no time outdoors. The gauges showed only 0.2 hours of running time! The boat has been professionally finished and is now a usable piece of history. The boat was launched for the very first time on fathers day 2010.

The boat has 2 covers, a 2nd bilge pump and is powered by a very strong 1996 Mercruiser 350 with only 155 hours. All of this is set off by a brand new 2012 Loadmaster aluminum tandem trailer. The Miss Alison was built true to it's heritage, a 1923 Hacker Gold Cup Racer. It is cold molded, diagonal planked hull, West System epoxy with frames, battens and floor timbers. There are Mahogany varnished decks and Teak cockpit and side decks. A bow thruster was installed after a few trial runs. The transmission is Borg Warner and the steering column is attached to a conventional steering box with a cable connection to the rudder arm. A custom canvas cover was made for the boat. The boat has won awards at almost every classic and wooden boat show it has attended.
