Tahoe Torpedo is a very rare custom ordered 20' Hacker Runabout. One of the last boats built in the Hacker factory. Tahoe Torpedo was original sent to Lake Tahoe and used as a ride boat for years. It was eventually put is storage and in the late 80's the boat was purchased and restored. The boat went through a bottom up restoration were bottom decks and sides were replaced. There is a full picture trailer of the restoration done then, It was used and shown in the Tahoe area for some years till the owner got Ill and the boat went back in storage. Around 2019 the boat was purchase. It was then varnished. Chrome redone and engine and transmission rebuilt. The boat is very rare and one of the last Hackers built. It is presently sitting in our showroom and ready for a new captain.

Original Hacker Craft Baby Dolphin with all its original German Silver hardware. This boat has been repowered by a Chrysler Straight Eight, M48S 165 HP, 12-volt conversion with electronic ignition. This boat is a survivor with an extremely tight original bottom, no soaking required. She could use a revarnish and the leather could use some polish. I believe the original condition is possible, as the boat has spent so many years out of the water in storage. Comes on a nice Tandem Trailer.

This 1998 Hacker Craft Triple Cockpit Runabout is in excellent condition and features the desirable walk-through configuration between the first and second cockpits. She has been recently varnished and bottom paint refreshed. Powered with the larger, 454cid Crusader fuel injected engine. Interior, chrome, mechanicals, and trailer all in very good condition. This Hacker Craft is ready to enjoy. Name and registration numbers removed in preparation for her next custodian!

This 1986 Hacker Craft has been meticulously maintained since her restoration and features a full factory replacement bottom. The restoration was completed in 2011 and the boat has been used sparingly since that time. New deep rudder, 17x19 4-blade propeller, 4600 RPM @ WOT. Traditional triple cockpit design with integrated cooler in intermediate deck. All chrome and upholstery in excellent condition. Mahogany floors and engine compartment lining. Cockpit floors have custom carpet inserts to protect varnished floorboards. Snap-on cockpit covers included as well as a full dust cover. Matching lines, fenders, and trailer all included.

This Hacker-Craft triple was purchased new in 1929 by a Manhattan Episcopalian bishop at the New York City Boat Show. She remained on Lake George, NY until 1989, when purchased by renowned wooden boat aficionado Mark Mason of Lake Winnipesaukee. She was subsequently purchased by Alan Jackson and at 74 years old went through a 3-year professional restoration. Will O' The Wisp is now arguably one of the nicest 30-foot Hackers in the world! Her current owner is making room in his collection for another Hacker Triple.

1930, 26 ft. Triple Cockpit Runabout, designed by John Hacker and custom-built by Hutchinson Boat Works of Alexandria Bay, NY. The Honduras mahogany deck and side planks are cut book-match so that the grain is mirrored from the king-plank to the covering boards and down the sides. A 5200 new bottom was installed using Hacker’s original design, with double planked Honduras mahogany at 45 degrees on the inner hull and fore to aft on the outer planks. The bottom has new stringers made of vertical grain Douglas fir and new frames, chines, battens, knees and a new keel, forefoot and stem. The hull and decks were stripped to bare wood and newly stained to the original color. The sides and deck are original wood and fastened with the original cooper roves (sides) and bronze screws (deck). The gas tank is new. The original interior gauges were cleaned and refurbished to exact working order. The interior leather, to match the original shade and texture, was replaced. The engine, a 1957 Chrysler Hemi 325 HP was completely rebuilt. The cylinders were re-bored and the rods, etc. were replaced with state of the art equipment. A MSD electronic ignition was installed. Since rebuild the engine has less than 50hrs. The OTHER WOMAN, first named “Kit” is in excellent condition, and has maintained its antique status. She has won many awards, most recently Best Hutchinson and People’s Choice at the Antique Boat Museum’s 52nd Annual Boat Show. She has also been featured in numerous magazine articles and books, including a book by James Barry called “Hackercraft” first published in 2002. Original documentation on this boat is available, including the first registration, early pictures, restoration work pictures, engine re-built pictures, etc.

A keel up restoration was completed June 2015. New 5200 bottom, West System epoxy sides and decks, 12 coats of varnish with 3 coats of urethane for uv protection. No swelling or cracking of any seams, finish is like glass. Everything has been refinished. New custom venture trailer 2015. 440 Chrysler Marine engine equipped with closed cooling system. This boat took two awards at its first show. Very rare and a must see!

This boat was custom built by Morgan Hacker for its current owner, a friend of Bill Morgan. Exceptionally well maintained, always used in fresh water. Very low usage since new. The original 454 Crusader engine suffered a mechanical failure, so a brand new engine was installed in 2015 and has 0 hours of use. Bottom paint, varnish, interior, flooring, chrome all in very nice condition.

Beautiful boat with a unique Canadian flare. Hacker design built by Dorner Furniture CO. in Canada. They built about 4 boats per year according to the story. The boat went through a complete restoration about 8 years ago and has been used very little since. seller says bottom was replaced during an earlier restoration. This boat has very distinctive styling.

Construction of this Commuter began in 1936. She was completed and remained unused until June of 2010! It was built from a set of Hacker lines. The builder of the boat was a Detroit based inventor. The 140hp Chrysler engine has never been fired and the twin fuel tanks never held gas. The boat sat on a sturdy, supportive cradle until very recently. It had no rot, no notable damage, and had spent nearly no time outdoors. The gauges showed only 0.2 hours of running time! The boat has been professionally finished and is now a usable piece of history. The boat was launched for the very first time on fathers day 2010.

This boat is all original except the Crusader 350 engine. Original bottom (dbl planked white cedar)has been refastened, new transom, 1 new bow cover board. A very nice restoration and ready to go. A fast, fun boat for the St. Lawrence. Fresh restoration!!

This boat was custom built by an Industrial Designer to a John Hacker design. She is a classic design bulit with modern methods. Framed with epoxy encapsulated white oak. Mahogany over double planked mahogany plywood sheathed in 10 oz. fiberglass set in West System epoxy. Decks are ½ inch solid mahogany over plywood. Stainless steel fastened, she is dressed out with custom cast, chromed bronze hardware and stainless steel. Italian leather seating, finished in dark blue hull and bright decks and interior. Powered by a balanced, twin carb 318 Chrysler MC V-8 producing 260 hp. With only 50 hours running time, this is virtually a new boat. This boat was designed for the builders personal use and has won several Classic Boat Show awards.
