Museum grade restoration of a 1940 Lakeside Peterborough 14 foot all wood boat - meticulously and completely restored. Comes with the original 1941 trailer also completely restored. Original badges sticker, even era correct tacklebox, life preserver, fishing rods and reels, fishing net, fishing basket and original oars (All era correct).

I am 3rd. owner.Boat has been completely refurbished but has no motor. It was stored in a barn on Lac Pytonga. See for the love of Peteroughs article featured in ACBS website and written by Jeff Birch. The stem and a short portion of the keel adjacent to the stem have been replaced. Some amateur alteration had been made which has been removed. The rest of the wood is original. At our ACBS club boat show it was awarded best non-floating boat. The price is negotiable as I simply want it to have a new home. I am told it should not have more than a 20HP motor.

Beautiful restoration of mint condition 1954 Peterborough Speedster *(75th anniversary Edition) cedar strip outboard runabout. No soak epoxy west system bottom *professionally applied in 2021 painted red-simply trailer launch and go. New battery, steering pulley/cable system and 12 volt wiring in 2022. Custom Sunbrella Forest Green travel cover & separate motor cover with all new stainless snaps. Vintage trailer with new winch crank & nylon mesh strap on single axle, sandblasted then powder coated red/white vintage look incl. fenders in 2021. New wiring harness with 4 point connector & new rear signal/brake lights. New axle with new *(3) wheels/tires/EZ lube hubs serviced annually since 2021. May include trailer mounted launch guide posts. Hull required only 2 minor repairs upon inspection; new outer keel-replaced professionally-oak with all new stainless screws. 5 ribs amidships were repaired in sections of between 5 & 12 inches with scarf joint white oak sealed with copper nails then epoxy. All other wood is original either cedar, oak and a 2 inch marine plywood transom installed by previous owner. Johnson Electric start 18 hp. motor model # FD11 fires up instantly with smooth idle & great compression. Restoration provided new impellor, coils, points, plugs & ignition. May also include; 2 vintage Peterborough paddles fully restored with period decals. Safety kit as required in Ontario, Canada. *This passion project was undertaken as a retirement project which happened to coincide with the onset of Covid lockdowns in 2019 enabling me to work in/out of my garage over 20 months of meticulous detailed love for wooden boats. Terrific boat for the collector or as a first purchase into the world of wooden boat ownership! This Peterborough Lakeside is from a single-family owner. She was originally purchased by my grandfather in Niagara Falls, Canada, in 1949. My father and I saved her from the barn in 1988. We then imported her to the US and stripped and restored her by 1996. Custom seat cushions, re-chromed hardware provided. The original paddles, floorboards, cable steering, throttles, and glass are installed. Navigation lights and remote kill switch were added along the way. Her bow is marked with the original registration number “NF443”. The Viking motor was the second purchased for the boat in 1961 and runs well. She is now located in a northern suburb of Indianapolis, IN. This boat always gets compliments and shows very well. Both boat and trailer titles are ready for transfer upon sale.

I am not sure where it started life but ended up on georgian bay in 2016 and was taken out a few times a year I purchased it in 2021 and has lived on belwood lake in ontario canada since then. it is a solid cedar strip with no dry rot and comes with trailer and canvas cover.

I am 2nd. owner, purchased in Ontario, Canada shipped by truck to BC. Canada, and only used in fresh water. Each year engine winterized and tuned by Dean's Marine, Duncan BC. Sanded and varnished above the splash rail each year. Hull fiberglass eliminating presoak each year. Used on Lake Cowichan for cruising and fishing. Berthed at Lake Cowichan Marina from May through Oct. out of water under shelter Nov. through April. It's a showpiece, every weekend lots of comments "That is the nicest boat in the marina!" It only draws 4" of water so gets up on a plane easily and is very stable.

Cedar double ended rowing skiff with spoon oars with leathers. Boat came from Muskoka area. Had been owned by the Hand family then another party in Ontario. I got it about 20 years ago and subsequently had some strips, 1/2 keel and a stem replaced by the instructors at Urban Boatbuilders in St Paul. the outer hull was stripped and I varnished with Deks Olje. Our use at the cottage was great but our use is inconvenient by the repeated in and out with soaking when we would return after a few weeks away. Deck batten boards need repair or replacement. All original hardware including the rare foot brace. Interior and gunwales could/should be refinished. Has been in dry storage for 5 years. No trailer, can car top or fit inside a van. Wonderful rowing. Can assist with delivery.

1941 Peterborough model Knockabout 159. Boat needs some restoration, keel missing. Come with a vintage trailer. Stored indoors for the last 10 years.

This antique 16' cedar strip canoe made by the Peterborough Canoe company circa 1900 was completely restored in 2018.

This Peterborough is all restored and I great overall condition. There is no motor but it has a trailer which is ready to go.

This is a fully restored Peterborough sailing skiff, made probably in the 1930s. You can find it in the reprint of the Peterborough catalog by Roger MacGregor in 1995, on page 35 with the specification chart on page 51. New sail. Complete boat. Restoration was complete in 1991 , sailed a few times for two or three seasons after and stored indoors ever since.

This is a very rare model of Peterborough and a must-have for the Peterborough collector. The traveler model was only built in limited numbers and was one of the company's early efforts to break into the inboard boat market. The design was very utilitarian with no windshield and center-position steering. She is quite heavily built compared to other Peterborough boats of the era. Powered by a Universal Flexi-4 engine, predecessor to the Atomic-4. Some restoration work has been started and she is now ready for a craftsman to take over the job!

Peterborough Handy Boy cedar strip outboard runabout. Older restoration and in serviceable condition. 1956 Evinrude 30 HP outboard matches the boat nicely, needs some adjustments.

Peterborough Handy Boy. 14 feet long with a beam of 5 feet. Nice lake boat for a few passengers. Cedar strip planking is in good shape, partially varnished. One floor board needs some attention.

1956 Peterborough 16 feet LOA, boat was completely restored in 1999 and has been kept indoors ever since. Has all new ribs, cut down sheer 3 inches, new deck configuration with single cockpit, new mahogany transom, and white leather interior. All but the planking is new, even the stem. Hull was treated with CPES and west system with 3oz cloth. Has wet-look gloss black sides, varnished mahogany decks. Boat rides fantastic. Full custom cover for boat & motor included. The Peterborough Canoe Company was one of Canada's largest and best known boat builders. During their production, the company produced outboard boats, sailboats, racing hulls, and a small number of inboards. This is a fine example of the AutoCraft Launch produced by Peterborough in the 1920's. The current owner located this boat in an Illinois warehouse. She was completely restored in 2003. She is powered by her original Kermath model 20. Only 3 of these boats are known to exist today. She is graceful and a beautiful survivor!

1930's Peterborough "Campmate" outboard model. Fairly uncommon and in very original condition. 14 feet long, stored indoors for the last 20 years. Boat needs some restoration but is a nice survivor. Comes with a vintage Tee Nee trailer!

This boat was commissioned as a custom build for a family on Stoney Lake back in 1939. She was completed after war efforts were stopped in 1946. This boat is a true custom build because it features many of Peterborough's most desirable construction methods and this model is not seen in any of the company's catalogues. She was fully restored in the 1980's and had a new bottom installed. The boat is still in excellent condition and shows that it has been very well taken care of. This is also a very functional design with the second row of seating behind the driver's position. She has fresh varnish and is ready to go! This is a rare 3 owner boat with a nice history.

1948 molded ply Peterborough Canoe. The boat has been stored indoors for many years but needs a bit of cosmetic TLC.

This is a reproduction of the classic Peterborough Canoe. The inner and outer stems as well as the in-whales and out-whales are made from ash. The striped decks are made from beautiful maple and walnut. Interior and exterior were covered in fiberglass cloth for superior strength and durability. The boat was launched for the first time September 2nd 2007 with great success. It is a stable design and with some practice, she is a snap to paddle.

This is a cedar rowing skiff bearing the serial number #5136115. It has no rot and every piece of wood is original. It has the original oar locks with spoon blade oars and was always kept indoors. It has a double rowing station and double scarf joint. Boat has a wine glass stern and a raked transom along with half round ash ribs. The actual year is unknown but it is beleived to be between 1925 and 1935. This boat was purchased as part of a property acquisition and came with it 5 years ago and the owner is now ready to sell the boat. This boat has a survey conducted by the late Jonathan Watson attesting to it's overall impressive condition. This is believed to be a Gull model which is a very rare and beauctiful model with excellent lines.

This boat is a 2004 reproduction of a 1957/58 Peterborough Nomad. This beautifully built boat is constructed from select red cedar strips over steamed oak ribs fastened by copper clench nails. It has been finished inside and out with 7 coats of varnish for maximum durability. Included is a beautifully restored 1958 35hp Maroon and White Johnson outboard.
