We are the third owner of this St. Lawrence River Boat. Boat was last operated in the summer of 2019. Upon pulling the boat that year, the engine was pulled and delivered to Van Ness Engineering in New Jersey where it went through a lengthy and complete rebuild. The Gray Marine Model 100, 226 cid., 6-cylinder engine was completed in summer of 2023. It has not been reinstalled. The motor was converted from 6-volt to 12-volt. Boat and motor are in dry storage (motor in heated storage). Boat includes a custom loadmaster Trailer purchased new in 2017. Boat is in good shape. It has had some hull and transom work (2017-18) and could use some work on the windshield. I have the original boat user manual and all paperwork on the trailer purchase and engine rebuild.

This well-maintained, rare boat is fantastic on the San Francisco Bay. Equipped with a deep V fiberglass hull and Bennett trim tabs, it can take chop while keeping passengers comfortable. She is reliable, fast, and powered by a 302 cubic inch V8 OMC Cobra engine. The gelcoat and wood trim are in great condition. Mechanically, it is also in excellent condition. The interior cushions could use replacement but are functional. Many recent upgrades and preventative maintenance items have been completed: a fresh engine oil/filter change, a fresh fuel filter change, and a fresh carburetor rebuild. All fuel pumps and lines, including the vent and fuel fill hose, have been replaced. Steering/throttle cables, including the control arm, have been replaced. The distributor cap, wires, spark plugs, and bilge pump were recently replaced. The sale includes a full cover, mooring cover, dock lines, fenders, life jackets, and fire extinguishers. The boat is located in Sausalito, California.

“Last One” is a 1970 22' Inboard Runabout Sleeper. She is one of the nicest Lymans out there and is the last (S-1146) in this very desirable model line. “Last One” was acquired in Ohio in 2016 and underwent an extensive above the waterline restoration in New Hampshire which included solid teak decks and complete interior refinishing. The hull sides were painted with Pettit “Grand Banks Beige.” She has correct Nautolex flooring and original chrome and instrumentation. The engine is the original Chrysler Marine V8-273 with electronic ignition rated at 210 HP. In 2022, the entire bottom including the stem and keelson was replaced by a Lyman expert in Alexandria Bay, New York. During the season, she is kept in a boat port and in cold, dry storage off-season. She has a Sunbrella custom-made full cover in Royal Blue Tweed. Equipment includes a Garmin Echomap Plus 74CV GPS chart plotter with through-hull depth finder transducer, a Guest 10-amp; dual bank marine battery charger, dual batteries with Perko battery switch; Bennett trim tabs, fore and aft bilge pumps; lighted stern pole with flag and chained anchor with rode. “Last One” comes with her custom fitted Ace Eagle aluminum tandem-axle bunk trailer equipped with surge brakes. This is a very rare example of an early Lyman 24' Utility. Uniquely appointed with a rear facing aft seat, forward bench seat, and dual jump seats on either side of the engine. Cockpit is also equipped with built-in storage lockers for all of your boating gear. She has been fully restored and repowered with a Crusader 5.7L engine, coupled to a Hurth 1.22:1 down-angle hydraulic transmission. Recently refinished and ready to enjoy this season. She sits atop a custom 2010 Loadmaster trailer and is complete with a mooring cover. 12V system, bilge pump, and dual batteries w/battery switch.

Very clean 19' Lyman. Swept Away was the pride and joy of our father who grew up on the river. The boat has great bones and rich history. It needs some wood and engine work to be restored to its past glory. Our family wants to find a new home for the boat with people who want to keep Swept Away on the river!

Very clean, attractive, mid-sized Lyman Utility completely restored in 2020. The culmination of a 3-year restoration project, my 1958 Lyman is picture-perfect and ready to make your summer memorable. This beauty is a rare, 15'6 runabout with numerous upgrades and a 1962 Evinrude Big Twin 40HP Outboard in as pristine condition as the day she came home from the factory. The keel and all structural parts are made from clear white oak, the planking material is made from 3/8" Clinker-built fir that is overlapped at the joints so that it is twice as strong as straked hulls. The decks, rails, stern and all of the interior wood is made from Philippine Mahogany. All of the hull fasteners used were specifically built for the Lyman Co. out of silicon cut bronze clout nails that were deeply embedded and reversed clinched. The literature from the day proudly declared, and is still evident 65 years later, that the fasteners never need to be tightened! In fact one of the reasons these hulls are so durable, strong, and safe is that there are approximately 2000 clout nails and more than 850 screws used in planking alone. What makes this Lyman different than any new boat is that it will never be worth any less than what you pay for it as long as it is properly cared for. Boat Details: We tried to keep as much of the original patina as possible while still breathing new life into her with multiple layers of high-end topside primer and paint as well as exterior/interior varnish. She was carefully stripped and sanded by hand. All of the hardware on the boat is period correct and for the most part, nickel-plated brass, including the anchor guides, bow base cleat, and the stern cleats. The Perko bow light has the original late 1950s port and starboard glass lenses, as well as a hole for a flag pole. Stainless steel full length rub rails have been installed on the gunwale and stern spray rails. One of her more unique features is her 1940s Chris Craft split speedster windscreen frame and glass. All of the wiring has been replaced and upgraded to modern standards using high quality marine-grade BlueSea fuse panels, copper wiring, and period correct switch gear. Extra capacity has been added in case the next user intends to install a modern marine radio and\or USB charger. The stern has been pre-wired for a stern light if desired. A second new battery has been added for redundancy along with an NOS A/B switch, a new bilge pump, and a new (unused) in-hull transducer (depth finder) Engine Details: The motor is a 1962 Evinrude Big Twin 40HP. These motors are renowned for their simplicity and reliability. The motor is in perfect running order and looks amazing on the inside and out. The motor was repainted with the original, authentic Evinrude polychromatic blue. The carb, ignition (points\condensers) have recently been rebuilt. The fuel lines and electrical wiring have been replaced as needed. The lower unit oil was replaced when the impeller (water pump) was replaced. When the lower unit was apart, the gear case was inspected and there was minimal to no wear. The compression for the upper and lower cylinders is 95 and 99 respectively. The current and previous owner have always run the motor with AVG (leaded high octane aviation fuel) since the mid 1980s therefore it is likely that this motor has never seen any ethanol fuel! That said this motor will safely run on unleaded fuel but like any modern small motor. Trailer Details: Trailer has been rebuilt from the ground up and re-configured for a wooden outboard boat. There are 3 rollers on the keel including directly under the transom that hold the weight of the boat. The side rails of the trailer have been covered with slick plastic sliders that balance the boat and make it easy to load and unload the trailer. A new Fulton trailer tongue, folding trailer bracket, and spare tire bracket have also been added. This allows the boat to be stored in a standard length residential garage. All of the fasteners on the trailer have been replaced including the u-bolts. The wiring, lights, heavy duty 7-pin coupler, safety chains, winch chain, rear tie-downs, and tires are all new. The trailer is over-built and therefore will protect the boat while its being transported. The trailer was originally configured for a heavy inboard powered runabout which certainly shows. Other Information: All of the accessories that you will need also come with the boat, including a custom made cover with wooden ribs, life preservers, floating cushions, new floating emergency kit (including flares and first aid), beautiful oak oars, two anchors, new docking bumpers, 2 floating keys, and enough new line for 2 boats. This 1966 Lyman Sleeper has been fully restored and is in very nice condition overall. A significant amount of plank work and ribs completed by the previous owner. Transom replaced, new Rayco fuel tank installed in 2014. Full bimini top, side curtains, full cover all in nice condition. Swim platform, all upholstery replaced. This is a very clean 25' Lyman that is sound structurally and mechanically. Ready to enjoy this season! There is a tandem axle trailer included, but different from the one currently shown in the photos.

“Perfect Evening” is a two-owner boat whose first life was centered on a southern Vermont mountain lake. Since 2010, she has been kept on Lake George in the Adirondacks, always docked under a canopy, and stored in winter in a garage. Over the past several years, the boat has received attention through a local restoration shop. In mid-2018, the bottom was sanded 3 times and painted with 3 coats of copper bronze paint. The transom was stripped, sanded, bleached, stained, wood sealer was applied, followed by 10 coats of varnish. In December 2018 and January of 2019 the starboard side covering board was replaced along with sanding and re-varnishing of the decks and painting of the sides. In May of 2019, the engine had a complete tune up, including the rebuilding of both carburetors. A compression test was done on all cylinders: 1 - 110 psi, 2 - 140 psi, 3, 4 and 5 were at 130 psi and 6 was 120 psi. "Perfect Evening" is in generally very good condition and ready for her next owner.

I purchased this boat knowing the transom needed some love. Soon I found it needed some bottom planks and needed to be turned over. The boat is apart, except for engine and windshield. I built two gantry cranes and steamer box. It's a beautiful boat, but I have lost interest and energy. Last in the water Spring 2020. Engine is very strong. Who would like to make this boat a real beauty again? All parts are with the boat.

1980 Lyman 26' Cruisette. hand laid heavy glass lapstrake. FWC 350 chevy with BorgWarner velvet drive, 1 1/4'' s.s. shaft, bronze cage, rudder, new cutlass bearing and stuffing 60 gallons fuel. Well maintained by seasoned mariner. Good grade of vhf, plotter sounder and on board battery charger. Recent alternator, starter with spare and raw water pump. Heavy duty trailer, tires great ,maybe 200 miles on them and bearing pack . I use boat hoist so no trailer dunk. Its in water for season at Iwaco and is a wonderful boat, rides great,looks great. This boat just underwent a major restoration. All new decking, new wiring, major engine work, new carb, all brightwork sanded bare and re-stained and varnished. The hull is in magnificent shape and the boat is as close to new as any Lyman you will see.

This Lyman Islander has been in our family since it was new. Its first 40 years were spent on Lake George, NY at the family home. Suzy's dad, Patrick, traded kitchen cabinets and a small amount of cash for it. Since Patrick's death, it has been kept on Lake Champlain, VT. The boat, originnally named "The Speed Merchant" (a tongue in cheek reference to it's slow and steady pace) is renamed "On Moonlight Bay" during our stewardship of it. It has been trhough a complete renovation in the early 80's and will need some refinishing by the new owners. The engine was rebuilt in early 90's and is in reliable working order. This boat is great for fishing or picnics with friends. She is in solid condition and well loved by our family.

This is nice example of a well cared for user boat. The upholstery and exterior paint and varnish are in good condition. The engine runs great and is enjoyed by the owner every season. The interior varnish on sides and engine box could use a touch up. The bottom is very tight and doesn't take on much water at all after being soaked up. La Lee is by far, one of the nicest Lyman 30's around today. She has been immaculately maintained and is in near perfect condition. With her wide beam and large cockpit, this is a perfect boat to entertain on. Having been maintained by Lyman-Morse over the past couple of years, LA LEE is a beautiful turn-key, retrofitted picnic boat. Engines run strong. Boat is available to be seen at any time year-round. The 26' Lyman Sleeper model offers ample room for passengers and the cuddy area is comfortable for napping or an overnight. In 2017, several bottom planks were replaced and the transom was refinished. Canvas top and seat cushion upholstery are in very good condition. The boat features trim tabs and enlarged rudder (for better handling), compass, Garmin depth finder and marine radio, plus a fixed anchor windless and rope. A popular and practical model, the Lyman Sleeper is spacious and great for entertaining in any weather. This example was totally restored in 2011 and also features a 350 Mercruiser Ski Magnum enigne that was installed at the time of restoration. This is a great 1966 Lyman Utility. It has been fully restored and has a Renault Twin Carb, 4-Cylinder I/O engine. It also has a full new canvas and all the work was done by a professional. It comes over a single axle Shorelander trailer which will pull the boat nicely.

Bought new by husband’s father in 1965. My husband and I were given boat by his father in 1976. Used on St. Lawrence River in Thousand Islands 2-3 weeks a year. The boat is a 1963 inboard needing a restoration. The transom and some ares of the decks need work. Gray Marine engine has been fully rebuilt at great expense. The original two carburetors were removed and replaced with a new single much more efficient one also within the last 10 years. Minimal use of the boat since that time. Engine starts and runs great. Has two batteries with dual switch, two water pumps, fish finder, stereo. This is an easy winter project with lots of strong points. There is no trailer included, but transport options are available as well as gantries on-site for loading on to your trailer.

This remarkable Lyman Islander sat in storage from the early 1960's until 2000 and is in very original condition. In the 2000's the tops, sides and bottom were stripped and refinished, the engine was torn down and rebuilt, and all wiring was replaced. In 2018, a new, larger canvas top was added and the sides and bottom were repainted. She sits on a 2004 trailer custom-made for the boat. Built in 1989, this reproduction Lyman Sportsman features a low maintenance fiberglass hull and all of the appeal of a wooden boat. She sports teak decks, teak flooring, mahogany ceiling panels and all mahogany trim. She has been beautifully refinished and outfitted with all new interior woodwork. Hull sides have been refinished in dark blue Imron paint which really sets this boat apart from the others. She was enjoyed on the fresh water lakes of Ohio prior to her move to Florida recently. Complete with a mooring cover and tonneau cover. Full 2017 Garmin GPS system. Needs absolutely nothing and is ready to enjoy!

This boat is a real head-turner after complete restoration in 1998-99 by Senecal Restoration, Landsdowne, ON; engines restored by Paul Hewitt, Brockville, ON.
