This engine is the last surviving motor from the Wilson family of Ingersoll, Ontario and the Muskoka Lakes region. The Wilsons campaigned Miss Canada racing boats very successfully in the 1930s and 40s. This twin cam Racing engine was built and tested by renowned racing mechanic Charles Volker in 1935, but was outlawed by a Canadian Boating Federation (CBF) rule change before it could be campaigned in Little Miss Canada VI. It is therefore in remarkable original condition. This one-of-a-kind piece of Canadian racing history would make a wonderful addition to a private collector's display.
