The original Duke was a 1961 My Dad`s mistress! Was rebuilt in the ~90`s by Ed Skinner at Duke Boats. About 7 years ago it needed a new bottom. Paul Brackley found me a 1958 hull he had newly redone. Same boat, but needed an engine etc. So Paul took everything important out of the `61 and put it into the `58 including reconfiguring it for a 6 cylinder and refitting the upholstery. The engine purrs like a kitten and barks like a Harley! She had a major tune up about 3 weeks ago. Everything always well maintained. I would let her go to a new home only because of my mobility issues.
