Learn how the process works (FAQ)
Belle Isle Boatworks is known for its constuction of Hacker Designed runabouts, most notably the "Bearcat" and "Super Bearcat". The company also built a handful of beautiful commuters. This example was built in 1927 for the purpose of rum running during Prohibition. Originally a single engine boat. The gauge panel is missing but the boat retains its original wheel, most deck hardware, bowlight, head, and forward deck hatch. The hull planking is in very fair condition but the decks will likely need to be replaced. The boat has very nice lines with lots of bow flare and a curved transom. This is a rare opportunity to own a boat built for the highly wealthy during the roaring 20's.
