This gorgeous Motor Yacht was delivered in 1930 despite the stock market crash the previous year. Designed by Louis Kromhol and constructed by Jakobson & Peterson. She has had a number of owners including the defense Department who pressed her into service during World War II. This gorgeous motoryacht is low to the water, allowing most people to step right off at the dock. This is a significant yacht and her plans are archived at Mystic Seaport Museum. She has won major awards at shows from Mystic to Ocean Reef Club in the Keys, including Clayton, A Bay, and Buffalo, where she took the Commodore’s Cup. She won People’s Choice in St. Michaels, MD, in 2021. She is wonderful for an evening cruise or an extended itinerary and turns heads wherever travels. She is also great for small, private charters and was extremely popular in the 1000 Islands when she was located there for weddings, Castle events and cocktail cruises. The boat can easily be handled by two and is perfect for a live-aboard situation. A full electronics package, fridge, stove, two showers and a full bath. The boat also has a 1930 Penn Yan dinghy which is easily employed as a tender. The boat has been well maintained and will survey out well and be ready for cruising this season. New stem, planks, floor timbers and ribs 2018. Extensively refurbished.
